We are appalled by the 40% increase in Garden Waste Charge proposed by Labour-run Barnet Council.

In November 2022 all Councillors in Barnet voted to not raise the price of Garden Waste from £70 collections for the remainder of the administration (till 2026) to help with the cost-of-living crisis.

Despite this Labour is proposing a 40% increase which will mean your green waste will go from £70 a year to £97.
