Sadly the death of Councillor Melvin Cohen at the end of 2022 meant a by-election had to be held for Golders Green Ward, a ward Melvin had represented for over 40 years.

Peter Zinkin was selected to be the Conservative Party candidate and, on 16th February 2023 was elected and will now serve alongside Councillor Dean Cohen in Golders Green.
